Salary: £39,579.20 plus £1,000 Recruitment Retention Allowance and a 5% Shift allowance

As an Electrician you will assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within the prison, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators. You will support the safe operation of the facility and contribute to the planning and execution of planned and preventive maintenance programmes.

• Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
• Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician.
• Experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
