Monday to Friday, Day Shift (45 hours per week)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well‑established business operating across East Anglia. Working across multiple sites, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, equipment reliability, breakdown response, and supporting ongoing plant improvement projects.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on heavy plant and site equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, plant shutdowns, and emergency call-outs.
• Support site improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and reliability initiatives.
• Maintain, inspect, and repair a range of heavy plant machinery.
• Work collaboratively with operations teams, maintenance personnel, and external contractors.
• Travel between sites throughout East Anglia as required.

• Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience within heavy engineering.
• Previous experience working within a heavy industrial, quarrying, recycling, aggregates, waste, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance background.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience maintaining equipment such as:
• Conveyors
• Crushers
• Screeners
• Excavators
• Dumpers
• Other heavy plant machinery
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Basic electrical fault‑finding and maintenance experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience working in a field‑based or multi‑site maintenance environment.
