Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Reporting

TRC's client is seeking a hands-on accounting professional with strong SAP FI/CO experience who can step in and contribute immediately. This role requires deep operational accounting expertise, particularly in month-end close, invoicing, and controlling within a project-based manufacturing environment.

• Execute and support month-end close activities within SAP FI/CO
• Process milestone and final invoices within SAP (SD/FI billing preferred)
• Post journal entries, manage accruals, and perform account reconciliations in SAP
• Support controlling functions, including cost tracking and project-based accounting
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Work within a manufacturing environment supporting project costing workflows
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams
• Support reporting and financial documentation requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO (FI & CO modules required)
• Proven experience with month-end close processes
• Experience posting journal entries and handling accruals in SAP
• Background in controlling and project-based accounting
• Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
• Operational accounting focus (not primarily financial analysis or investment)
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal training
