Role Description The Estimator/Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newnan, GA. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and project bids for underground utility projects, including reviewing plans, specifications, and site conditions. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with field teams and subcontractors, developing project schedules and budgets, monitoring project progress, and managing cost controls from pre-construction through completion.

The role also involves tracking change orders, ensuring work aligns with contract requirements and company standards, and maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The Estimator/Project Manager supports both estimating and project management functions to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Estimating and Project Management skills for underground utilities.
• Candidates should possess solid Cost Management and Budgeting skills to plan, track, and control project financial performance.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments.
• Experience in underground utilities, or related infrastructure projects is a must.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and contracts, and to use estimating and project management software.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements relevant to utility construction.
• Relevant technical or engineering education, or equivalent field experience in construction estimating and project management.
