Responsibilities:

• Organize and administrate music volunteers while serving as the music leader during 50% of worship services
  • Includes rehearsals and helping to build/strengthen our current music repertoire
• Work with current volunteers to continue building our Children and Youth Choir/Music Ensemble
  • Includes current elementary choir (meets 2x/month) and finding ways to help our middle and high schoolers serve through music

Other potential opportunities:

• Depending on calling/qualifications, this could be part of a pastoral role or internship with other church ministry opportunities and seminary tuition help

Compensation: 10-15 hours per week at $1000-$1500/month depending on experience/availability/etc.

• A profession of faith in Christ and an active life in His Church
• A calling to serve the local church in music ministry
• Proficiency in leading congregational singing, both vocally and instrumentally (piano or guitar)
• Proficiency in organizing and rehearsing music volunteer ensembles, including
  • the coordination of sheet music and chord charts
  • the ability to direct rehearsals and sound checks
• Willingness to help support and grow our children’s music program
