The Project Manager for our Window & Curtain Wall Projects Business isn’t just a job, it’s a starting point to an awesome career with a great company. As the primary point of contact for all project activities, you will manage OBE’s scope of work, supporting our customers’ efforts to deliver a quality product on schedule. This includes overseeing various project scopes, including engineering, storefronts, curtain walls, operable windows, doors, unitized systems, skylights, and glass.

You will maintain seamless communication with customers and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the project scope is consistent with quotes and design needs. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a detailed schedule of deliverables based on project timelines and keep organized and comprehensive records of all project‑related documents.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Oversee diverse project scopes including engineering, storefronts, curtain walls, operable windows, doors, unitized systems, skylights, and glass assemblies.
  • Ensure seamless communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain project alignment with quotes, budgets, and design requirements.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking milestones, deliverables, and critical paths to meet or exceed project deadlines.
  • Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation, ensuring all project records, submittals, and change orders are easily accessible and up to date.
  • Manage curtain wall and glazing projects from concept through completion, ensuring all phases are executed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate multi‑product line projects across multiple OBE plants to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
  • Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to accurately define, verify, and deliver project scope.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with clients, architects, and contractors through proactive problem‑solving and transparent communication.
  • Utilize ERP and project management platforms for planning, cost tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design correspondence, reports, and system performance reviews with precision and professionalism.
  • Provide on‑site and fabrication support, leveraging technical knowledge to address field challenges and ensure proper installation practices.
  • Travel to project sites, partner facilities, and manufacturing plants as required to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the curtain wall or glazing industry, with a strong understanding of glazing systems, field installation, and product fabrication.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑product projects across various manufacturing plants while maintaining quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field preferred (not required).
  • Strong working knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, unitized systems, operable windows, doors, skylights, and glass products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Word, with familiarity in ERP systems and standard project management tools.
  • Skilled in preparing technical documentation related to design, performance, and installation.
  • Deep understanding of architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and scope definition.
