Responsibilities:
- Engineering design and CAD production for multiple projects for multiple clients.
- Must perform civil site development and Civil 3D design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with CAD drafters, technicians and clients.
- Manage other engineering and CAD technicians’ work and interface with other disciplines.
- Schedule, budget and scope management of projects.
- Supervise AutoCAD and Civil 3D technicians as required.
- Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with team members and clients.
- Document design decisions and maintain project documentation.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current valid EI or PE registration in Florida.
- Minimum 3 years of design experience with public and private projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
- Experience with regulatory approval processes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read construction plans and excel at mathematics and measurements.
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Survey Field Technician – Tallahassee, FLGeneral Description: Performs construction stakeout, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, route surveys, etc. for public and private clients.
Key Duties:
- Apply surveying techniques and procedures.
- Use GPS, Robotic Total Station and scanners.
- Coordinate daily with field and office staff.
- Maintain and operate surveying equipment safely.
- Upload and download data collectors.
- Advance knowledge of new technology and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum two years of survey-related field experience.
- Basic mathematics and measurement skills.
- Knowledge of survey ethics and technical standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to read construction plans and field notes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Physical Demands: Standing, lifting 50–150 pounds, walking on uneven surfaces, work in all weather conditions, ability to enter confined spaces, maintain balance on watercraft, work at extreme temperatures.

Survey Party Chief – Tallahassee, FLGeneral Description: Supervises survey crew performing construction stakeout, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, route surveys, etc.
Key Duties:
- Apply surveying techniques and procedures.

- Coordinate daily with field and office staff.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely.

- Work independently as a one‑person crew when required.
- Upload and download data collectors.
- Advance knowledge of technology and equipment.

Qualification Requirements:

- Demonstrable experience as Survey Party Chief, especially roads, highways, and bridges.
- Strong mathematics, measurements and technical standards knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and willingness to learn new technology.
- Manage other field staff and coordinate with other disciplines.

- Plan and layout work for multiple projects and clients.
- Project management: scheduling, personnel, client coordination, permit coordination, agency interaction.
- Represent projects before government review boards.
