Project: Plant Yates Units 8–10 (Simple Cycle Combustion Turbine)
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler / Planner to support the Plant Yates Units 8–10 Project
, a 3x0 simple cycle combustion turbine facility located on a brownfield site in Newnan, Georgia.
This role is part of an active EPC project team and involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Primavera P6, critical path scheduling, and earned value management
, along with a solid understanding of EPC project workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and update Level I & Level II project schedules
- Resource loading and leveling
- Perform and report on:
- Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis
- Float analysis and schedule performance
- Track and report project progress using Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Support project controls activities based on experience and capability
- Assist with more complex project controls assignments as needed
- Develop understanding of cost control processes
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities
- Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Evaluate schedule impacts related to:
- Scope changes
- Resource constraints
- Support change management processes
, quantifying impacts on timeline - Provide accurate forecasting and schedule performance insights
- Proven experience in project scheduling/planning within EPC or construction environments
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of:
- Critical Path Method (CPM)
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Ability to develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Risk Analysis & Forecasting: Ability to identify and mitigate schedule risks
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently assign labor, equipment, and materials
- Change Management: Evaluate and document impact of scope changes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of EPC processes and cross-functional dependencies
- Onsite role at an active power generation construction project
- Brownfield environment at an existing facility
- Experienced scheduler with a strong EPC background
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction project environment
- Able to support both independent tasks and collaborative project efforts
