Responsibilities- Interpretengineering drawings and customer specifications and confer with engineering staff to determine quality standards.
- Prepare corrective action responses, 8D problem solving for permanent corrective actions, and lead problem solving activities.
- Manage internal and customer drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrate and deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely release of control of configuration management documents.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards.
- Actively support Cost-Out, Scrap/Rework reduction & improved First Pass Yield site goals and objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or other related field) is preferred
- At least 3 years relevant work experience as a quality engineer
- Six Sigma, 8D, or root cause analysis experience using statistical analysis tools
- Certification process experience (i.e. ISO
9001:2008, AS9100/9110) FAA Part 145, FAA Part 21, CAAC, CAA, Military - Knowledge of QDAS system. Proficient in Excel, Minitab, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Power Bi
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Familiar with navigation of OEM Engine Manuals
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
