Manager of Finance

Provide financial leadership across City of Hope’s hospitals and system-wide initiatives, serving as the key partner to operational and clinical leaders.

• Manage, develop, and execute monthly operations reporting.
• Conduct trend and variance analysis of key financial drivers.
• Provide revenue cycle decision support.
• Assess new service lines and evaluate capital investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with System FP&A, site operational leaders, and executives to develop, implement, and monitor operating budgets and initiatives.
• Partner with department leaders, clinical leadership, IT, and Finance to create, develop, and drive continuous improvement in business analytics, delivering timely and accurate information.
• Serve as the business partner of choice, providing value‑added insights to hospital‑wide leaders and departments.
• Focus on operational finance to support service line growth, cost efficiency, productivity, benchmarking, and workforce planning.

• Minimum education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business.
• Experience:
  
  Three to five years in healthcare, business analytics, operations analysis, or accounting/finance; supervisory experience of one to three years preferred.
• Skills and abilities:
• Strong management, initiative, and self‑discipline.
• Excellent communication and influence across all organizational levels.
• People, process, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
