Voice Engineer

Overview

IDR is seeking a Voice Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Newnan, Georgia. This role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise telecommunications infrastructure, focusing on voice systems, collaboration tools, and video conferencing solutions. The company operates within the technology and communications sector, providing critical support for large-scale enterprise environments.

• Support, maintain, and assist with the implementation of the enterprise telecommunications infrastructure.
• Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications environments, including Cisco Call Manager (CUCM).
• Provide support for collaboration and telecom platforms including voice systems, voicemail, IVR, video conferencing, and web conferencing tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecom incidents and service requests across voice and collaboration systems.
• Assist with design, deployment, and upgrades of telecom infrastructure and collaboration technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise telecommunications infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, programming, and maintaining telecom equipment.
• Strong experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) administration and support.
• Experience supporting voice systems, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration technologies.
