We are looking for a dependable and safety‑minded Fabbing Assistant to support our fabrication team. In this hands‑on manufacturing role, you will help cut, stage, move, wrap, label, and prepare foam products according to customer orders and production schedules. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable working in a production environment, and willing to support changing priorities based on customer needs, staffing, equipment availability, and daily production schedules.

• Move, stage, organize, wrap, label, and prepare foam buns, blocks, and cut parts for customer orders.
• Assist with cutting, trimming, saw table support, slitters, vertical saws, and other fabbing‑related equipment as directed.
• Follow work orders, cut sheets, customer specifications, and supervisor instructions.
• Verify foam grade, size, quantity, and order details before and after cutting.
• Stack, sort, count, wrap, and label finished foam pieces for shipment or staging.
• Report damaged foam, missing materials, quality concerns, machine issues, or order questions promptly.
• Assist with scrap foam removal, baling, inventory counts, and department organization.
• Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and equipment procedures.

• Good attendance, dependability, and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read basic work orders, labels, measurements, and customer specifications.
• Basic math, counting, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn fabbing processes, equipment procedures, customer requirements, and other department duties.
• Ability to use computers and enter information into spreadsheets or company systems as needed.
• Ability to operate a sit‑down forklift with pan, if trained and authorized.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. during the workday. Must be able to handle foam pieces of different sizes and weights and safely assist with moving large foam pieces with other employees when needed. Must be able to wear required PPE.

Must pass Drug test and Criminal background check.

This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to noise, dust, moving equipment, forklifts, foam particles, and changing temperatures. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, organization, teamwork, and shifting production priorities.
