The CNC Programmer role is focused on creating, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs that support efficient manufacturing operations and reports to the Production Supervisor
.

This role is perfect for an individual who has strong attention to detail, enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is passionate about continuous improvement. As a key member of the Fabrication team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Create, update, and maintain CNC machine programs using fabrication drawings, manufacturing specifications, and CAD software.
  • Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machine performance issues to support quality, efficiency, and production goals.
  • Assign production orders based on schedules, machine capacity, and workflow priorities.
  • Monitor tooling inventory and maintain organized program files, setup sheets, and production documentation.
  • Support shop floor operations by assisting with machine setup, operation, preventative maintenance, and process improvements.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining regular and reliable attendance.

What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of related manufacturing, machining, or CNC programming experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and basic CNC programming documentation.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn manufacturing software, CAD systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using measurement tools such as tape measures, digital calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Effectively multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the flexibility to cross-train and support other areas as needed.
