Registered Nurse, ICU – Full Time Night Shift (7p–7a)

• Direct patient care through the nursing process and collaborate with patients, families and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide leadership to non‑licensed staff by setting an example of excellence.
• Continuously assess patient needs through a holistic approach, communicate changes in condition to physicians and other healthcare professionals, and adjust treatment plans based on multidisciplinary care plans.
• Plan, deliver, direct, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic interventions; document interventions provided; and supervise care delivery by unlicensed support staff.
• Provide patient and family education regarding the disease process, treatment side effects, and health promotion, offering support and reassurance to facilitate informed decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and accrediting agencies, and participate in the development, review, and updating of policies and procedures.
• Engage in the unit Performance Improvement plan to enhance patient care quality.
• Obtain and document patient medical history and medication information; verify physician orders and provide safe delivery of prescribed medications and treatments; evaluate outcomes promptly.

• Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License.
• BSN required or completed within six months of hire, and BSN completion within three years of hire date if enrolling.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (obtain AHA certificates within 30 days of hire).
• 1–3 years RN experience in a bedside care setting preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Recent ICU and/or step‑down experience preferred.
