Overview
Inpatient Surgical Non OR - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant at Piedmont Newnan campus. This role supports the surgical service line team.
Responsibilities- Rounding on patients in the hospital
- Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital
- Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting
- Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas
- Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provide leadership to the organization
- Master’s, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program and national board certification, OR
- Licensed as a nurse and approved to practice as an NP by the State of Georgia with national certification
