Assistant Store Manager

- Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team by participating in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team members
- Recognize exceptional performance and redirect employees when needed
- Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools
- Partner with the Store Manager to plan and execute merchandising standards, promotional planning, markdown execution, and product placement
- Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls
- A positive and solutions‑oriented mindset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and customer engagement skills
- Proficient in computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Climb up and down a ladder
- Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week
