Stocking associates focus on unloading trucks, stocking new freight, and managing inventory in the backroom. They must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.

Stocking, backroom, and receiving associates work to ensure customers can find all the items they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift, duties include moving inventory, unloading trucks, and helping customers while stocking shelves. The role is physically demanding, especially during busy periods.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
