Company Overview
We are a growing organization operating in the technology and industrial products space, supporting customers, vendors, and partners with hardware, software, and services solutions. Our sales teams move quickly and cover a wide range of products, projects, and customer needs, and we are building the infrastructure to help them sell more effectively without getting buried in administrative and quoting work.
Position TypeThis is a full-time exempt position. Work arrangement and travel expectations will be determined based on business needs.
Role OverviewThe Sales Support & Deal Desk Specialist is a critical shared resource supporting multiple salespeople, business units, customers, vendors, and internal teams in a lean, fast-moving sales environment. This is not a quota-carrying sales role, and it is not a generic administrative assistant position.
The primary purpose of this role is to protect seller time by owning quote creation, proposal organization, opportunity hygiene, deal desk coordination, and sales-related follow-up — freeing sellers to focus on prospecting, uncovering new opportunities, building customer relationships, and closing business.
This person will prevent sellers from spending valuable selling time writing small transactional quotes, organizing replacement product requests, chasing part numbers, formatting proposals, or managing administrative sales follow-up. While technical product knowledge is helpful, organization, accuracy, quote writing, follow-through, and deal coordination are the most important qualifications for success in this role.
