The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility. This role ensures that all building systems operate efficiently and that a safe, professional working environment is maintained for employees.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Facility Maintenance & Inspections*
* · Perform routine daily inspections of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
· Inspect and maintain lighting, bathroom fixtures, faucets, toilets, sinks, and related equipment.
· Clean or replace air filters, lubricate machinery, and service all facility components as needed.
** Repairs & Upkeep*
* · Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repairs, and both interior and exterior upkeep.
· Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs across building systems.
** Housekeeping & Safety*
* · Maintain a safe and clean work environment by supporting housekeeping efforts, including trash disposal and cardboard removal.
· Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and workplace standards.
· Successfully complete all required safety training and testing.
** Grounds Maintenance*
* · Maintain exterior areas, including removal of trash, weeds, and tree limbs.
· Address pest concerns such as wasp nests and ants.
** Systems Familiarity & Emergency Support*
* · Develop and maintain working knowledge of the fire alarm panel and sprinkler system.
· Be available for emergency call-in support on a 24/7 basis as needed.
** Work Environment & Expectations*
* · Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and confined spaces.
· Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
· Maintain punctual attendance and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
· Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate effectively with all departments.
** Qualifications*
* · High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous maintenance or facilities experience
