Facilities Technician
We are looking for a Facilities Technician to maintain the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility. This role ensures all building systems operate efficiently and that a safe, professional working environment is maintained for employees.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine daily inspections of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Inspect and maintain lighting, bathroom fixtures, faucets, toilets, sinks, and related equipment.
- Clean or replace air filters, lubricate machinery, and service all facility components as needed.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repairs, and both interior and exterior upkeep.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs across building systems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by supporting housekeeping efforts, including trash disposal and cardboard removal.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and workplace standards.
- Successfully complete all required safety training and testing.
- Maintain exterior areas, including removal of trash, weeds, and tree limbs.
- Address pest concerns such as wasp nests and ants.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of the fire alarm panel and sprinkler system.
- Be available for emergency call-in support on a 24/7 basis as needed.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and confined spaces.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Maintain punctual attendance and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate effectively with all departments.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous maintenance or facilities experience.
