Yard Associate

Porter / Yard Worker

Responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining written maintenance schedules, servicing equipment as necessary, and inspecting equipment before and after rentals to document any lost or damaged items.

• Station and retrieve equipment on site property.
• Maintain written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary.
• Inspect equipment before and after rentals and document lost/damaged items.
• Assist in keeping equipment clean and ready for use.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

• Effective written and oral communication with customers.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety focused mindset.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors and outdoors as required.

• Porter Hostler, Yard Hand, Yard Jockey, Yard Spotter, Entry Level Mechanic, Mechanic Trainee, Construction Laborer, Washbay Attendant, Equipment Washer, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Worker.

$17.75 – $23.72 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
