We are hiring a Certified Maintenance Technician for Creekside at White Oak in Newnan. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our community and is ideal for a professional who values teamwork, quality work, and excellent customer service.

• 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certified, and skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the building and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete all assigned service requests.
  • Complete all make‑ready units.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Supply personal tools.
  • Clean work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Communicate positively with residents, vendors, and co‑workers.
  • Operate within company safety policies at all times.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
  • HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
  • Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Proficient with computers and online applications.
  • Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and Happy Co preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.
Environmental and Physical Demands
  • Constant walking, standing, and sitting with frequent stair climbing, and occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs or more.
  • Strong finger and hand dexterity and ability to grasp, turn, touch, feel, and reach.
  • Good eyesight and hearing; ability to comprehend and speak.
  • Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to outside weather.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and electrical shock risk.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
