Grounds Crew- Monster Tree Service of Peachtree

Position Overview

Grounds Crew at Monster Tree Service of Peachtree – an individually owned and operated franchise.

• Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment.
• Unload, lay out, prepare, and stow materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite.
• Work from the ground using handsaws and pole saws. Drive trucks, loaders and operate other equipment such as log movers, chippers, stump grinders, etc.
• Service trucks and equipment; keep trucks and other assigned equipment neat and orderly; report needed repairs to crew leader.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent communication with workers aloft.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings.
• Adhere to all industry and company safety standards and policies, including the use of PPE at all times; help enforce job safety practices.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Perform related work as assigned.
• Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely.

• Prior experience with trimming, liming, chipper, and saw operation is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs at a minimum and work outside in all weather conditions.
