Warehouse Welcome Center Coordinator (Nights)

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Welcome Center Coordinator at its Newnan, Georgia facility.

Position Description

Night Shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am). 12‑hour rotating schedule: 3 on, 4 off, working every other weekend. Schedule is released in advance.

Hourly Pay $19.50 per hour
Shift Differential $1.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1–2 years experience in freight coordination/scheduling/planning
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft programs
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Positive attitude that sets an example for others
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and communicate effectively
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles
• Check inbound and outbound seals on vehicles
• Communicate effectively with management on any welcome center issues
• Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner
• Follow all SOP regarding checking in/out freight
• Monitor CCTV equipment and advise management of any occurrences
• Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified
• Other duties as assigned
