Warehouse Forklift Operator

Position Overview

Temporary Full Time Forklift Operator – Newnan, Georgia.

Ryder is employing temporary full‑time forklift operators for 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday 10:00 pm–6:00 am). Pay is $18.50 per hour with an additional $0.50 per hour for 3rd shift. Schedules will be confirmed during the interview.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Meet performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote, induce, and stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during the core shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse workplace.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with a good attendance record.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative.
• Accurate, able to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Familiar with health and safety methods and flexible scheduling.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
