Senior Property Accountant

We’re seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a large, institutional‑quality portfolio of commercial assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growth‑oriented environment and brings strong experience in real estate accounting, financial reporting, and operational partnership with asset management teams. • Manage full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial assets properties
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and general ledger activity
• Review and analyze CAM, property taxes, insurance, and other recoverable expenses
• Prepare CAM reconciliations and support tenant billing processes
• Partner with asset management on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Assist with cash management, AP/AR oversight, and treasury functions
• Maintain accurate property‑level financial data and ensure timely reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and accounting best practices

• 4–8+ years of commercial property accounting experience in industrial, office, or retail.
• Strong understanding of property‑level financials and real estate operations
• Experience with CAM reconciliations, recoveries, and lease‑related accounting
• Proficiency with real estate accounting systems (MRI or Yardi preferred)
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly
• A proactive, collaborative professional who enjoys partnering with operations and asset management
