Accounting Manager

Our consultants are experienced professionals who step in to solve complex accounting and finance challenges for growing organizations.
We are seeking a full-time Accounting Manager with diverse industry experience to join our Orange County, CA team
. This role requires 6+ years of progressive accounting experience and offers the opportunity to work directly with multiple clients, supporting their accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements.
Serve as a key accounting resource for clients, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
Assist with and oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation of best practices and internal controls
Assist with system implementations, ERP transitions, and accounting clean-up projects
Work closely with client leadership, including Controllers and CFOs, to support business objectives
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
Participate in client meetings and provide clear communication regarding accounting matters
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Public accounting experience is a plus but not required
Experience working with multiple entities or clients is highly preferred
ERP experience such as Net Suite, Quick Books, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast-paced environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
