Property Accountant
Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company located locally in the Irvine area. Ideally you have prior real estate industry experience and knowledge of Yardi or MRI.
- Responsible for property accounting for a portfolio of holdings.
- Drive the month‑end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR).
- Respond to audit requests and special projects.
- Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses.
- Perform month‑end activities, journal entries, GL and account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Conduct account analysis to review monthly flux and variance analysis between actual and budget.
- Skilled in MRI/Yardi and strong Excel skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
