Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their client's team in Orange County, California. This is a full-time, onsite position conveniently located near the Irvine/Newport Beach area, close to the airport. The role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project software to coordinate construction timelines effectively.
- Manage project budgets and cost estimates.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review construction plans and schematics for accuracy and feasibility.
- Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to facilitate precise execution.
- Lead project teams by managing contractors, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout each phase of the project.
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management software such as Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, project coordination, cost management, and regulatory compliance within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately while managing construction plans effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role; excellent time management skills are essential.
- Hands‑on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety standards and building codes.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams efficiently.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction management software such as Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
