Position Overview

Smarter Home.ai, a Master Distributor of top-tier services in cable, internet, phone, wireless products, and home security, is immediately hiring an experienced Google Business Profile Specialist (GBP) to join our dynamic team in Newport Beach
. As the Google Business Profile Specialist (GBP) for Smarter Home.ai, you will be responsible for leading and managing our multi-location digital presence. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven marketer who can drive traffic, calls, and verified leads through local optimization, while managing teams and agencies effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Creating, claiming, verifying, and optimizing Google Business Profiles for hundreds of nationwide retail and kiosk locations.
  • Ensuring consistent, accurate information across all business listings (hours, services, photos, posts, etc.).
  • Leading internal GBP coordinators and managing external agencies.
  • Driving growth in local visibility, inbound calls, and in-store traffic.
  • Implementing review-generation campaigns tied to the Payfect App.
  • Managing and responding promptly to customer reviews and Q&A in alignment with brand voice and reputation management policies.
  • Monitoring profile performance using Google Insights, analytics tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Developing strategies to improve local search rankings and increase engagement (clicks, calls, direction requests, website visits).
  • Implementing keyword-rich descriptions, categories, and attributes for better search relevance.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure accurate updates to business information.
  • Tracking algorithm or policy updates from Google and adjusting optimization tactics accordingly.
  • Reporting on performance metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities to management or clients.
  • Creating localized posts, event listings, and promotions to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing multi-location or franchise Google Business Profiles
  • Strong understanding of local SEO, Google Ads integration, and analytics tools (Domo, Looker Studio).
  • Experience leading teams and working with marketing agencies.
  • Knowledge of schema markup, UTM tagging, and local ranking factors a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Bright Local, Moz Local, Yext, or White spark. (This is a plus)
  • Ability to create compelling post content and visuals aligned with brand messaging.
  • Understanding of competitor analysis and citation management.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and data-driven approach to optimization.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is highly desirable.
  • Willing to partake in a Background Check.
