Job DescriptionYou will work within a world‑class Equipment Engineering organization comprised of experienced Equipment Engineers, Technicians, and supportive management. Your primary responsibilities will include learning and performing preventative maintenance tasks on equipment used to manufacture integrated circuits for leading customers, assisting Technicians with equipment repairs and subassembly rebuilds, and collaborating with Senior Technicians, Equipment Engineers, and area Managers to recover equipment and support production.
You will participate in activities assigned by area engineers or managers and work on set priorities based on production requirements.
- You can work from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
- You can rebuild assemblies and ensure parts are available for PM activities.
- You can learn tool operation and navigate through control screens.
- You can learn basic PM procedures and perform assigned tasks.
- You can learn Post‑PM equipment recovery.
- You can assist Technicians in recovering equipment from major failures or a PM.
- You can assist Senior Technicians/Engineers in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems.
- You can participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing equipment maintenance procedures and systems.
- You can review spare parts inventory and ensure correct quantities are available in the stock room.
- You can assist with pump installation and ensure spare pumps are on site.
- No previous working experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance is required; however, basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits and strong mechanical skills are required.
- 2 years of college coursework in a technology field is desirable.
- An associate of science degree in technology, with an emphasis on electrical, electronics, mechanical, or an equivalent field, is in progress.
Compensation: $18.00/hr - $20.50/hr
