Tax Partner or Principal

Well established CPA firm with a strong industry focus has a long-time TAX partner preparing to retire in the next 1-2 years. We are searching for a replacement. Candidates don't need a book of business, but they do need the expertise, mind-set, and work ethic:

• Commitment: Must have a track record of "owning" results no matter what. Literally, "the buck stops" with the Partners.
• Expertise: Must have broad knowledge of tax planning and compliance for mid-market private businesses in California.
• Management: Recent experience managing a tax department in a CPA firm: scheduling, systems, processes, training, billing, hiring and professional development.
• Client Relationship Building: You do not have to come with a "book of business," but you must be able to build and maintain strong client relationships. Compensation growth will then come for your success in growing those clients and adding new ones.
• Stability: This is for the long run so the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate stability and a plan for a future in the Orange County Market.

Active CPA required.
