We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Paraplanner to support our Financial Planning Department in our Newport Beach office. This role plays a key part in the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans for clients, including executives, professionals, and business owners.
Position OverviewAs a Paraplanner, you will work closely with experienced advisors to develop customized financial strategies. This position offers hands-on exposure to complex planning scenarios and meaningful involvement in the client planning process. Responsibilities span technical analysis, client coordination, plan preparation, and collaboration with outside professionals.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist advisors in preparing financial planning proposals, engagement agreements, and onboarding materials
- Collect, organize, and analyze client financial data
- Prepare detailed financial plan reports for advisor and client reviews
- Participate in financial plan presentations as appropriate
- Coordinate with clients’ accountants and attorneys to facilitate information gathering and implementation

- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
- 1 to 3 years of financial planning or related experience
- Series 7 and 66 securities registrations (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Must be appointed as a Registered Representative with Cetera Wealth Services, LLC within required timeframe
- Ability to become an advanced user of financial planning software (eMoney experience preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
Candidates must meet background check and fingerprinting requirements and comply with FINRA disclosure requirements, including Form U4 reporting obligations.

CompensationThe expected pay range for this position is $2,725-$3,350 per semi monthly pay period. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
