Junior Investment Analyst; M&A + Public Markets

We are hiring a Junior Investment Analyst to support private and public market acquisitions, public company research for concentrated equity positions, and conference-driven sourcing. This role works directly with senior leadership and regularly interfaces with CEOs, founders, bankers, and sell-side analysts at major firms.

• Source and evaluate private and public acquisition targets
• Perform financial statement analysis (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, valuation, scenario analysis)
• Develop investment theses and concise internal memos
• Research public companies for large equity positions and monitor catalysts
• Support conference strategy, executive meetings, and follow-ups
• Communicate directly with CEOs, investment bankers, and sell-side analysts

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 1+ year of full-time experience at an investment firm, bank, advisory, consulting, or comparable analytical role
• Prior internship experience in finance, investing, banking, consulting, or related field
• Strong financial statement literacy and ability to analyze company fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to build and interpret financial models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and initiative

• Investment banking, equity research, buy-side, corp dev, or transaction-focused roles
• Exposure to small/micro-cap public companies and special situations
• Conference attendance and relationship-driven research
