Role DescriptionThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport Beach, CA, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of E2B4 Corp. The CFO will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning to support the company’s infrastructure growth strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting, preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing cash flow and capital allocation.
The CFO will collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and support fundraising and banking relationships. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, refining internal controls, and implementing systems to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
- Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Proficiency in financial statements and financial reporting, with a track record of accurate and timely reporting to leadership and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, assess risk, and support strategic decision-making.
- Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in high-growth or infrastructure-focused organizations.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and financing structures for large-scale infrastructure or energy-intensive projects.
- Experience with compliance, internal controls, and audit processes, including GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with executive leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred.
