Senior Relationship Manager – Global Commercial Banking

• Provide advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects
• Serve as primary point of contact or trusted advisor
• Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships
• Collaborate with teammates and facilitate client relationships with Product Specialists
• Identify cross-selling opportunities using knowledge of bank products and services
• Manage an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion
• Help companies save, borrow, and invest for current and future needs
• Prospect for new business and enhance existing relationships
• Interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess company financial conditions and industry trends
• Collaborate with domestic and international teammates, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management
• Design and deliver financial solutions with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services
• Lead dialogue with complex clients and prospects on industry, capital structures, and business issues
• Coach and mentor peers
• Adapt to changes in sales practices and market and industry conditions

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking
• Ability to manage an extensive portfolio of clients
• Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions
• Professional sales skills and experience, including planning, execution, and follow-up of client meetings
• Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen
• Financial modeling experience
• Completion of formal credit training
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Ability to organize, facilitate, lead, and negotiate with bank associates to solve client problems
• Must obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses within 180 days of start date
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience desired
• Business, finance, or economics majors preferred
• MBA desirable
• Existing knowledge of the market preferred
• Active networking contacts and established Centers of Influence in the market
• Active membership/participation in local community organizations

Demonstrates expertise in managing complex client portfolios and delivering tailored financial solutions, with a strong foundation in corporate finance, capital markets, and commercial lending. Proven ability to prospect new business and enhance client relationships while leading and mentoring teams.
