Job Description:
- Functions as the clinical resource for patients and staff for ostomy, Continence Disorders, Acute and Chronic Wound and Skin breakdown and Fistulae.
- Provides direct wound and ostomy care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Provides patient/family teaching and instruction of wound and ostomy management both pre and post operatively.
- Assists the healthcare team in the evaluation of skin and wound products and equipment along with providing educational programs, in-services and bedside teaching for the nursing staff.
License Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California - Current and in good standing.
