Job Summary:

Serves as the clinical resource for wound, ostomy, continence disorders, skin breakdown, and fistula management. Provides direct patient care, education, and support to staff and families.

• Assess and manage acute and chronic wounds
• Evaluate and treat pressure injuries (Stage 3 and above)
• Manage and report hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI)
• Provide pre- and post-operative ostomy education
• Deliver bedside teaching and staff in-services
• Support evaluation of wound and skin care products
• Promote infection control and patient safety practices
• Assist hospital initiatives to reduce HAPIs

• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience
• BSN required
• Active California RN license (in good standing)
• Wound & Ostomy Certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety
• Ability to work with wound care technology and equipment
• Travel may be required

• 2 years of wound and ostomy care experience
