We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to support enterprise-wide technical, data, and strategy-related initiatives within a large matrixed environment.
This role requires strong experience in Agile methodologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in Newport Beach, CA, 2–3 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage complex, cross-functional technical and business projects.
- Establish and maintain project scope, plans, schedules, and resource alignment.
- Lead project teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Create and maintain key project artifacts such as Charters, RAID logs, CBAs, and status reports.
- Monitor and manage project budgets and financials.
- Serve as a liaison between Technology, Corporate, and Divisional groups.
- Facilitate organizational change management and internal communication efforts.
- Apply Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
- Communicate progress using visualization tools and provide data-driven updates.
- 7–10 years of experience in project and program management across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage both Infrastructure and Systems Implementation projects.
- Strong technical understanding to identify project activities and coach teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Azure Dev Ops, Smart Sheet) and MS productivity suite (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power
BI). - Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Background in strategic management or consulting (Big 5 or equivalent strongly preferred).
- MBA, PMP, and/or Agile certifications.
- Experience with large-scale financial or insurance institutions.
- Engineering or Computer Science background demonstrating analytical and logical thinking.
