Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled D365 Business Analyst with deep expertise in Supply Chain and Warehouse Management. This role will focus on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to enhance operational efficiency across Advanced Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Procurement & Sourcing, and Security Compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring advanced warehouse processes, designing secure role structures, managing cycle count programs, and delivering training/documentation to end-users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Advanced Warehouse Management
• Configure and manage multiple warehouses within D365, ensuring consistency of workflows and policies across sites.
• Set up warehouse-specific parameters (location directives, work templates, replenishment strategies, and cycle count plans).
• Design and implement inter-warehouse transfer processes, including transfer orders, in-transit warehouses, and automated shipment confirmations.
• Support multi-warehouse order fulfillment strategies, including cross-docking, wave picking, and order consolidation.
• Enable multi-site inventory visibility through reservation hierarchies and ATP (Available-to-Promise) rules.
• Configure and support warehouse zones, storage dimensions, and license plate groups across different facilities.
• Implement multi-warehouse replenishment strategies, balancing stock levels across locations.
• Coordinate return-to-warehouse and quarantine warehouse processes for quality control and reverse logistics.
• Define and maintain user access and security roles tailored for each warehouse, ensuring compliance and segregation of duties.
• Develop warehouse performance dashboards to monitor KPIs (cycle time, order accuracy, stock discrepancies) across multiple facilities.
Inventory & Cycle Counts
• Design and implement cycle counting strategies (spot counts, blind counts, system-directed counts, and wall-to-wall counts).
• Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies using D365 tools and reporting.
• Establish inventory policies for batch/serial number tracking, reservation hierarchies, and costing methods.
Security & Compliance
• Define and maintain D365 security roles, duties, and privileges specific to supply chain and warehouse functions.
• Conduct periodic security audits to ensure role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance with audit/regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT Security teams to enforce "least privilege" access principles and mitigate risks.
Procurement & Sourcing
• Configure and support procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, approval workflows, and vendor collaboration.
• Ensure seamless integration of procurement with warehouse receiving and inventory processes.
Training & Documentation
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and quick reference guides for warehouse users, inventory managers, and procurement teams.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for advanced warehouse functions (e.g., mobile device usage, cycle counts, workflow execution).
• Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for system configurations, security roles, and operational processes.
Support & Continuous Improvement
• Provide Level 2/3 support for supply chain incidents, troubleshooting functional and security-related issues.
• Conduct testing and validation for new configurations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Recommend and implement process automation and system improvements using D365 F&O best practices.
