We are seeking an AWD/SS&C Chorus Analyst for a 6‑month W‑2 contract in Newport Beach, CA. The hourly pay range is $75 to $82.39. This role balances business analysis with technical execution, emphasizing the technical side.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and resolve incoming tickets related to system integrations and workflows.
- Support onboarding of new products into P&L systems, ensuring accurate data flow.
- Analyze workflows, identify requirements, and coordinate QA processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including product, development, QA, and support.
- Continuously learn and optimize AWD/Chorus screens and processes.
- Work alongside senior analysts with deep platform expertise.
- Partner with developers, QA, and support teams in a collaborative setting.
- Primarily analytical role with minimal hands‑on development.
- Analyze complex business problems, evaluate needs, and clarify requirements, data, processes, and systems for complex technology projects.
- Work with the Product Owner to refine backlog, prioritize use cases, and drive understanding.
- Develop solutions to complex problems, employing ingenuity and creativity within the larger business context; coordinate with business areas, Digital Transformation teams, and Technology on overlapping functions.
- Recommend scope, facilitate and participate in application design sessions, and aid in the development of system solutions.
- Engage actively in sprint and release plans, participate in retrospectives to continually improve team processes.
- Prepare time estimates for completing features, assist in scope definition, management, and tracking; facilitate the development process.
- Support user acceptance testing and adoption of changes through planning, test‑scenario identification, communication, and execution.
- Coordinate testing and code promotions with developers, testers and Dev Ops engineers; participate in problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot production problems, act as liaison among business areas, keep all parties informed of status, and coordinate problem resolution.
- Work alongside senior analysts with deep platform expertise.
- Partner with developers, QA, and support teams in a collaborative setting.
- Primarily analytical role with minimal hands‑on development.
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst within the AWD / SS&C Chorus platform.
- Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) and workflow systems.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops.
- Minimum of five years of systems analysis experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile mode, where team members self‑organize and hold each other accountable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development (Scrum Master or Product Owner certification is a plus).
- Experience with AWD/Chorus and other workflow solution platforms.
- Experience customizing AWD screens (basic JavaScript and/or HTML).
- Exposure to Appian (nice to have, but not required).
