Director of Applications & Integration Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Director of Applications & Integration to lead the strategy, implementation, integration, and ongoing management of enterprise business applications. This individual will help drive the company’s SaaS‑first technology strategy while serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong business acumen with hands‑on applications and integration experience. You’ll partner closely with executive leadership while helping modernize enterprise systems and improve confidence in IT delivery across the organization.
Location: Newport Beach, CA (Onsite M‑F)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $170,000–$200,000 base plus bonus

What You’ll Do- Lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise business applications
- Drive SaaS application selection, implementation, and optimization initiatives
- Oversee application integrations across ERP, CRM, transactional systems, data warehouse, and other enterprise platforms
- Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions
- Manage application vendors and hold partners accountable for delivery and performance
- Work alongside the CIO and Project Manager to successfully execute multiple enterprise initiatives
- Support major modernization efforts including data lake and future CRM initiatives
- Guide application architecture, data movement, and system integration strategy
- Lead and mentor technical resources while fostering accountability and collaboration
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise business applications and systems integration initiatives
- Strong background implementing and integrating SaaS platforms
- Experience working with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred), CRM platforms, transactional systems, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Knowledge of ETL, APIs, middleware, or integration platforms
- Strong understanding of how enterprise applications exchange and manage data
- Experience managing technology vendors and implementation partners
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Working knowledge of infrastructure and enterprise technology environments
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale technology initiatives simultaneously
- Hands‑on technical background with progression into leadership
- Experience using AI tools or incorporating AI into day‑to‑day work is highly preferred
