IT Project Manager; Microsoft Dynamics 365

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead multiple concurrent technology and business automation projects.
• Develop project charters, schedules, work plans, budgets, communications plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, process reviews, solution design sessions, testing activities, cutover planning, and deployment activities.
• Lead project meetings and steering committee reviews.
• Maintain project governance documentation including RAID logs, action item logs, and status reports.
• Drive issue resolution and escape critical decisions when required.
• Ensure projects achieve intended business outcomes and value realization objectives.

• Participate in vendor evaluations and selection processes.
• Assist in development of statements of work and project estimates.
• Manage systems integrators and consulting partners.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, invoices, and change requests.
• Manage implementation risks associated with external vendors.

Projects may include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM / Field Services / Customer Service), Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Databricks, analytics and reporting initiatives, AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, operational technology integrations, and business process modernization efforts.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required. Experience leading technology projects and coordinating cross-functional teams. Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills. Experience working with technology vendors and consultants.

Preferred:

• 3-5 years of project management experience
• PMP certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms.
• Experience with Power Platform or business process automation.
• Exposure to AI, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Energy, industrial, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, service, or utility industry experience.

• Strong management presence with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to lead through influence, challenge established norms, and facilitate difficult conversations.
• Ability to manage small to medium complexity projects.
• Strong project management skills including budget, schedule, vendor and consultant management, and scope control.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft D365 software solutions. Knowledge of SCADA systems is helpful. Experience with IoT, AI, and Predictive Analytics a plus.
