Associate Attorney (Litigation & Advisory)

Location: Newport Beach, CA (Primary) | San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Experience: 3–7 Years

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000+ (Commensurate with experience)

Litchfield Malone McDonald LLP is looking for multiple attorneys to join our talented and growing team. We do things a bit differently and are seeking candidates who want to be in the room where things are happening, not just behind a desk.   Take and defend depositions, make court appearances, and draft substantive motions for complex cases.
• Beyond the Courtroom: Expand your skillset into contract negotiations, transactional counseling, and risk management.

• Flexibility That Matters: While this role is primarily based in our Newport Beach office (with opportunities also available in the Bay Area), we value results over "desk time." Once you are settled in, you will have significant flexibility to work remotely.

• Experience: 3–7 years of legal experience (litigation focus preferred).
• Skills: Exceptional written communication and a "perfectionist" streak when it comes to work product and attention to detail.
• Drive: A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Credentials: Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
