Job Title
Supply Chain Quality Manager – Procurement (Cabin Equipment Work Packages) – United States
Responsibilities- Develop and manage cabin equipment work packages, including monuments, floor-to-floor, IFE, and seats.
- Perform daily supplier quality management and supply‑chain surveillance to ensure on‑time and on‑quality aircraft deliveries.
- Conduct regular audits, assessments, and industrial risk management activities with suppliers.
- Initiate and champion robust recovery plans and corrective action plans (CID) with suppliers to restore performance to Airbus standards.
- Monitor supplier performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage supplier surveillance via audits and assessments.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders—Multi‑Functional Team leaders, Programs, and final assembly lines—to maintain alignment on quality objectives.
- Prepare, support, and lead regular industrial senior‑management and quality supply‑chain reviews (PRMs) with key suppliers.
- Drive the maturity and capability of cabin suppliers’ manufacturing and supply‑chain processes to proactively avert supply failures and support industrial ramp‑up phases.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in a procurement operations environment focusing on monitoring, auditing, and supplier development (10+years in aerospace or manufacturing highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of supply‑chain and quality processes, familiarity with quality core tools, QMS, international management standards, auditing/assessing, IPCA+, and CCP tools.
- Certifications such as Green Belt/Black Belt or CPIM are preferred.
- Fluent, negotiation‑level English and the ability to articulate complex industrial situations clearly to influence decision‑making at all levels.
- U.S. work authorization; applicants must have current work authorization.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work on‑site at supplier sites or Airbus offices minimum 4 days per week.
