We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Parts Service Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and foster strong relationships with suppliers to deliver exceptional customer service.

- Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and demand forecasting to meet operational needs efficiently.
- Oversee supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize inventory management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate parts administration records.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, ensuring timely delivery of parts while minimizing delays or shortages.
- Lead warehouse management activities such as stock organization, cycle counts, and implementing best practices for inventory control.
- Collaborate with automotive service teams to understand parts requirements for vehicle repairs, auto body work, or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications.
- Implement procurement management strategies aligned with manufacturing schedules and dealership sales targets while maintaining compliance with safety standards like HVAC or forklift operation when necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in parts sourcing, pricing strategies, and internal communication to enhance overall efficiency.
- Tekion experience is required
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive parts & accessories management.
- Strong supply chain management expertise including procurement management, demand planning, logistics inventory management, and sourcing strategies.
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, ERP platforms, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and order management systems.
- Exceptional negotiation skills paired with supplier management experience to secure favorable terms and build lasting vendor partnerships.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive service processes and auto body repair is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for data entry, reporting, and internal communication purposes.
- Ability to manage shipping & receiving operations effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service within a dealership environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in parts administration and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration across departments as well as external negotiations with suppliers.
