We are a large, well-established Healthcare organization serving communities throughout Orange County. With a high-volume, fast-paced financial environment supporting multiple facilities and departments, we are seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to lead and strengthen our AP operations.
Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the full-cycle AP function in a high-volume environment processing approximately 15,000 invoices per week
. This role requires a strong, hands‑on leader who can manage day‑to‑day operations, drive process improvements, and develop a high‑performing team.
You will directly supervise 8 AP team members (4 temporary and 4 permanent employees), providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure operational excellence.

- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee the full‑cycle Accounts Payable process in a high‑volume environment
- Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls
- Manage workload distribution and support the team during peak processing periods
- Serve as a hands‑on supervisor, stepping in to assist with invoice processing and issue resolution as needed
- Coach and develop team members, providing specific, actionable feedback that drives measurable improvement
- Candidates must be able to provide concrete examples of coaching provided and the resulting performance improvements
- Identify, lead, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Candidates must share examples of process improvements they have successfully driven
- Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline AP workflows
- Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional departments to enhance AP operations and service delivery
