Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the full day-to-day operation of the retail store, ensuring operational excellence, team leadership, strong sales performance, and a seamless in-store experience. This role is both strategic and hands-on, balancing leadership with floor presence. This role will be required on-site 5-days per week (One of those days being Saturday), and the compensation range for this position starts at $75-80k/annually.

Duties

and Responsibilities Store Operations
  • Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring smooth opening/closing procedures
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with Pure Salt brand guidelines
  • Manage inventory accuracy in partnership with operations, receiving, transfers, replenishment, and loss prevention
  • Partner with Operations on operational systems, POS processes, and cross-channel alignment
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering elevated, relationship-driven service
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships (design clients, local customers, repeat shoppers)
  • Drive sales performance through goal setting, team coaching, outreach, and floor leadership
  • Handle customer issues with grace, professionalism, and brand integrity
  • Track KPIs including sales, conversion, AOV, and client retention
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage store associates (if applicable later down the road)
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
  • Create schedules that align with traffic patterns and business needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for store staff
Communication and Collaboration
  • Report directly to the Design Services Manager with weekly updates on store performance, staffing, and needs
  • Collaborate with Shoppe Design Coordinator on operational improvements, retail initiatives, and shoppe design success
  • Communicate feedback from customers and team to leadership
  • Support brand activations, launches, events, and special projects as needed

Education + Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 3–5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in lifestyle, home, fashion, or luxury retail
