That’s why we’re actively seeking a talented Field Wholesaler to join Pacific Life's Consumer Markets Division (CMD) to cover West Virginia, Northwest PA and Southern New York.
As a Hybrid Wholesaler, you’ll proactively market Pacific Life products to existing and potential producers, independent of a traditional Field Wholesaler, using consultative sales skills to meet sales goals, maintain and/or grow market share and raise division assets. You will develop and maintain ongoing business relationships with financial advisors within your assigned territory. You will increase rep penetration and cross‑sell multiple product lines by identifying sales opportunities and helping advisors identify ideal clients for our products.
Howyou will make an impact
Manage territory competitively to drive annual goals, with a focus on year‑over‑year sales growth and profitability. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Deliver product presentations to current and prospective financial advisors via telephone, webinars, go‑to‑meetings, office visits, group meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Build business with financial professionals in the designated district using a consultative sales process:
Investment Consultant, Business Consultant and Retirement Consultant. - Proactively position and differentiate PL Solutions and Strategies against competitor firms and products.
- Exhibit and maintain a strong fundamental knowledge of PL Solutions and current economic and market conditions.
- Create and execute a quarterly business plan.
- Communicate regularly and proactively to assigned Manager(s).
- Build and implement strategic travel rotation.
- Manage business and sales budget.
- BA/BS required, emphasis on finance or economics preferred
- 3‑5 years minimum relevant financial services experience
- SIE, Series 6 and/or 7 and 63 required
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent listening, profiling and closing skills
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Sound judgment and business maturity

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
