Role Description The Sponsorship Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport Beach, CA, responsible for developing and closing sponsorship opportunities that support 2H4F.org’s initiatives. This role involves identifying and qualifying prospective sponsors, conducting outreach through calls, emails, and meetings, and presenting tailored sponsorship packages aligned with partners’ marketing and branding goals. The specialist will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal creation to contract negotiation and relationship management.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a robust pipeline, updating CRM records, collaborating with internal teams on sponsorship deliverables, and tracking performance metrics to ensure targets are met. The role requires consistent in-person collaboration with the team and potential sponsors in the local area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship management, with a track record of securing and renewing sponsor partnerships.
- Strong Sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and pitch to diverse stakeholders.
- Lead Generation capabilities, including researching prospects, building contact lists, and initiating outreach campaigns.
- Previous experience in nonprofit, events, sports, media, or cause-related marketing is beneficial.
- Comfort working in an early-stage or launching organization, with adaptability and self-direction.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
